Version dated 7 October 2026 (revision 2)
The Russian text is the authoritative version of this document. This English translation is provided for convenience only; in case of any discrepancy the Russian text prevails.
These Acceptable Use Rules form part of the User Agreement. Their purpose is to ensure that messages from hatmail.kz addresses reach their recipients and that users are protected against spam and fraud.
1. What Is Prohibited
- sending spam — advertising and other bulk messages to recipients who have not consented to receive them;
- sending malware or phishing messages, impersonating another person or organization, or forging sender information;
- using the Service for fraud, extortion, threats or harassment;
- distributing materials prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including extremist materials, pornographic materials involving minors, materials promoting drugs, and materials inciting social, racial, national or religious discord;
- infringing copyright and other rights of third parties, or distributing other persons’ personal data without lawful grounds;
- attempting to gain access to other persons’ mailboxes, guessing passwords, or circumventing the restrictions of the Service;
- registering mailboxes by automated means, for resale, or in a number exceeding the established limit;
- using a mailbox as file storage or as a relay for automated mailings.
2. Sending Limits
The following may be sent from one mailbox:
- a new mailbox — up to 30 messages per hour and up to 100 messages per day;
- a mailbox with a confirmed record of good-faith use — up to 100 messages per hour;
- in a single message — no more than 100 recipients;
- from the address of a connected mailbox held with another email service — up to 30 messages per hour, with a message size including attachments of up to 25 MB; the limits of the email service itself apply in addition.
The Operator may change these values. Executable files and other attachments of dangerous types are not accepted.
3. What Happens in the Event of a Violation
Depending on the severity of the violation, the Operator may restrict the sending of messages, temporarily block the mailbox or delete it. In the event of bulk spam mailing or fraud, blocking is applied without warning.
If a block has been applied in error, write to support — the request will be considered within 5 business days.
4. How to Report a Violation
Complaints about spam, phishing and other violations originating from hatmail.kz addresses are accepted at abuse@hatmail.kz. Attach the entire message together with its full headers.
If you are a rights holder and believe that your rights are being infringed through the Service, write to abuse@hatmail.kz, indicating which rights have been infringed and the documents that confirm this.
